I so enjoy making these. They have hand stitched features, little fixes and lots of details. Early blue tied around their neck. They are heavy filled with rags.

Early Looking Sock Cat ~SOLD~

Very primitive and made to look old. This sweet little cat is made from an old sock. He is 6" tall and stuffed with rags.


Little kitty has a make-do fix from an old feed sack where the sock was worn from use.

Eyes are cut from an early scrap of quilt backing and stitched on primitively. His nose, whiskers and mouth are hand stitched and tail is braided. He wears a lovely scrap of early blue from an old rag ball around his neck.

One of my most favorite things to make, this sock kitty is one of a kind and will be signed and dated.

Primitive Witch Cecily and Her Sock Kitty

Cecily is made from muslin and is mostly stuffed with rags. She is 19" tall and made to sit...but I can add a loop on her back if you'd like to hang her.

She has a stitched face with a needle sculpted primitive nose.

Cecily is dressed in black with a patch of early calico on her dress and also one on her hat. She is very primitive and distressed looking.

Sitting on her lap is her little witch cat. Made to look old this wee kitty is made from an old black sock. He is 4" tall and stuffed with rags. His eyes are cut from an early piece of muslin. His nose is pinched and his whiskers and mouth are stitched in brown. He has a little scrap of sock for a tail.


Cecily witch and her kitty are one of a kind and will be signed and dated.

Early Look Sock Cat ~ SOLD

She measures 8" tall not counting her tail. She is stuffed with rag scraps for a lumpy bumpy feel.
