Her face is stitched and needle sculpted;
hair is early wool hand sewn
on.
Her legs are button jointed so that she sits very nicely.
She is filled with roving from a local farm here
in Pennsylvania.
Marigold's little boots are hand painted with stitched laces.
and has a crochet
shawl around her shoulders.
She is holding a little bouquet of old
millinery lilies of the valley from the 1940's.
She is $87.00, which includes priority mail shipping within the U.S.
I imagine her picking them on an early spring morning.
