Inspired by the old jack-o-lantern candy containers, this pumpkin doll has hand-stitched facial features. Eyes made from an old feedsack and a homespun scrap for a nose.

Around his shoulder he carries a little harvest bag. Primitively stitched date 1792 on it. Tucked inside are his old crow and a few dried gatherings.

He is made from painted and distressed muslin with his head painted a dirty brown orange.

His jacket is a wonderful brown homespun with an old bone button holding it closed. His britches are a nubby brown homespun linen. Both are worn and stained.

Made for sitting or hanging, his torso is rag stuffed for a bit of a heavy feel. He has a loop stitched on back.

He measures 21" tall.

A Rabbit Hill Primitives original and will be signed and dated.
