Primitive Olde Scarecrow ~ SOLD ~

Click each picture for a closer look

Scarecrow is stitched from an old feed sack found in Lancaster County, PA. His arms and legs are branches with the same old sack rolled around them and stitched into place. His head and body are stuffed with clean sawdust. I have tucked raw flax in here and there for the “straw”. He has a nice old feel to him.

Scarecrow's face is hand-stitched with a patch of homespun for his nose. His shirt and pants are made from tattered homespun in the best autumn colors…pumpkin, tans, browns and even a little indigo blue. He has an old brown button and his paints are held up with cording. His scarf is early red calico. Scarecrow’s harvest is a long primitive cloth pumpkin with an old branch for the stem.

He is made to hang….on a cupboard, protected front door, fireplace etc. Many stitches in this primitive olde fellow. He measures approximately 20 inches tall.

Scarecrow is a Rabbit Hill Primitives original design and one of a kind. He will be signed and dated.

SORRY HE IS SOLD
