March Update

Hello and welcome!  Even though we've not had a bad winter, I am ready to welcome back spring flowers and little birds singing.  I have two springtime offerings for you this month...

BOTH ITEMS ARE SOLD ~ THANK YOU KINDLY! I AM WORKING ON MORE SPRING THINGS FOR AN UPDATE NEXT WEEK. CHECK MY BLOG EARLY NEXT WEEK FOR DATE OR SIGN UP FOR MY MAILING LIST. (AN EMAIL LINK IS AT THE BOTTOM RIGHT OF THIS PAGE.)  THANKS!  JENN XO

~Tilda, Spring Cleaning Bunny~

She is 15" from head to toe.  She does not stand on her on but has to be propped up.

Tilda has glass bead eyes, a stitched nose and mouth, and flax whiskers.  Her head scarf is made from an early piece of striped fabric.

Her simple muslin dress is adorned with an early bone button. She wears an apron over this made from a vintage feedsack.  ....and if you look under her skirt, you will find a fluffy sheep wool tail!

Broom is made from honeysuckle vines found in my garden.

She is $62.00 with priority mail shipping included within the continental USA.  All others please inquire.  SHE IS SOLD, THANK YOU!

~Bluebird Sewing Box~

This measures almost 6" tall

The round box is covered in brown antique reproduction calico.  The inside is lined with a different repro. brown calico.  This has been aged to look old and worn.

Attached to the lid is a pincushion.  I love making these little paintings in cloth.

This one has a little bluebird sitting on a branch of a pussy willow tree.  All using early fabrics, with the tiny buds made from early quilt batting.

Lots of little stitches everywhere (old bone button and pins too).  Pincushion is filled with sheep wool.

Sewing box is $56.00 with priority mail shipping included within the continental USA.  All others please inquire. SEWING BOX IS SOLD, THANK YOU!
